HELP: Honolulu CAR Rental 8/17 - 8/21

Need to rent a car in Honolulu Hawaii from 8/17 - 8/21.

Even an economy car is ok for me. Please suggest me what price should start bidding on PriceLine.

Also what is good price for Standard car incase I do not get economy.

I read in another thread that someone got a convertible for $20 in Maui.... well I love to be lucky too :)

Any suggestions to help save me some money will be greatly appreciated.

What is the best rate you can find for the above (both car classes) using our Car Rental Rate Checker?

I get approximately $31.67 per day for compact car by using the Rate Checker... :)

and for convertible is it $62 per day.... OUCH !! :o :) :)

I am sure much we can do better than this.

I am thinking of trying the priceline for convertible at $25 to see my luck.

Any suggestions.... ?

You can try and mabye you'll get lucky, but the discounts on car rentals are usually not as great as the discounts we typically see on the hotel side.
