sausalitomom Posted January 9, 2012 Report Share Posted January 9, 2012 Excuse my ignorance as I am new to this, but it seems that if you plug in 3.5* in the Makena/Wailea area, you should get the Makena Resort. Could you also get the Hotel Waliea? I just want something quiet and where you can walk to the beach and I think with the Hotel Waliea you have to take a shuttle. AaronJB Posted January 9, 2012 Report Share Posted January 9, 2012 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)These two properties have been reported at the board at the 3.5* level:3.5* Hotel Wailea 3.5* Makena Beach and Golf Resort When bidding on 3.5* in this zone, one has to be willing to accept either property, and there may be others not yet reported to the board. If I can't get a winning bid under $125, I'll most likely just bid directly with Makena Resort as their current $199 direct special rate includes no resort fee($25) and breakfast buffet for two($60).
