Hi,

Just won the Westin for $60/night plus applicable fees and taxes. February is low season in Halifax, but as our stay falls during the 2011 Canada Winter Games, I wasn't too sure what to expect...I'm pretty happy with the price I paid!

I was able to get the hotel on my 5th try. Previous attempts were $50, $55, $58 (added a new zone every time as there are only 4* hotels in the downtown area anyway), $58 again 2 days later -ran out of zones to add. Note: I didn't try the airport zone- and $60 (final and winning bid).

Below is the summary of my invoice:

Summary of Charges

Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $60.00 (USD)

I stayed at the Westin 2 years ago and it's a very nice hotel. The staff was very helpful and if the lobster feast is on at the restaurant in the lobby, you MUST have it at least once. $45 for seafood chowder, a whole lobster + desert. MMM :)

Thanks Betterbidding!
