First bid $46 for 2.5* in Springfield-Northampton area rejected, but received notice allowing me to increase my bid to $55 without having to change location/stars. Since I already knew I had a reasonable choice 2* available via Hotwire at $57 offering free breakfast, I decided to add the Springfield-Holyoke area and increase bid to $49, which was accepted. Taxes and fees were $13.53 for a total charge of $62.53. When I checked the Country Inn/Carlson website, the internet rate for the least expensive room this evening was $99, so I am pleased with this deal. Link to comment
