Traida Posted December 13, 2011 Report Share Posted December 13, 2011 I was able to get a rate of $67/night at the 2.5* Comfort Inn in Avon, CO (near Beaver Creek and Vail).Travel dates: 1/20~1/23/2012 (Friday~Monday)This is a great deal for this area (I know from many past trips). Your other options at this price/star rating would be in Silverthorne, CO (the LaQuinta was running about this rate on hotwire.com a couple of weeks ago) but that is 30 miles from Vail, 40 from Beaver vs. the Comfort Inn which is only 8 mi from Vail, 1 from Beaver.I also got this rate earlier in the month.Thank you BetterBidding for hotel guidance and information over the years!By the way, if you don't get what you want on the first bid, add "Vail" (prices are higher there anyway), if you still don't get it, add "Keystone" (there are no 2.5* in Keystone).Good luck!
