Jeff Thompson
So far have not had any luck for my trip to Vegas Feb 9-13th. Currently my last offer was $121.00 which was not accepted and I was really wanting to stay in the 5* Strip North. Any ideas or opinions you guys can think of?Bidding history:65707580859095101106111116121And I have been using the links on the websiteThanks,Jeff Link to comment
thereuare
Your budget is probably close for a 5* hotel in the Strip South zone, but based upon current rates, i'm guessing a Strip North property would like be in the $140-$170 range... what is your maximum bid for this stay? Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board.. Jeff Thompson
Well I was looking to keep it up under $600. Do you believe bids closer to the $150 mark would be a more accurate bid for 5* Strip north and current hotel prices? Link to comment
AaronJB
The Trump is showing for $114 on HOTWIRE. In terms of a 5* in the North Strip zone on PRICELINE, you're likely looking at more at least $140-150. You have time, however, to continue higher by $5's - $126, $131, $136, etc.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. Link to comment

Jeff Thompson
I was in search of alternate options last night to see if spending $150 was what I was wanting to do. I did place another bid at 132 with no luck. Will keep the board posted with future bids/ alternate options. Hopefully have something booked within the next week or two. Also do hotel prices tend to go up before the holidays as people are buying trips as gifts and such? Link to comment
thereuare
I don't think 'holiday gift giving' will effect this trip at all.Good luck and keep us updated on your progress. Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board. Jeff Thompson
4-star Hotel in Las Vegas Strip - SouthThis Hotel features the following amenities:Resort Casino Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Golf Nearby Won the Tropicana for $70 a night from Feb 9 to Feb 13. Total with taxes is $325.00(not including resort fees). Not a bad price and a perfect location for "home base" plus with the nearly 180 million in remodeling this place, it should be a great visit. B) Thanks for all the information on the boards. I did use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links.Jeff Link to comment
