I used a $6/night bonuscash through Priceline, so winning bid was $46 (my share is $40).

First bid was for MSY for a 4*, I bid $40 ($46 w/ bonus cash) and it was rejected.

I added the area of French Quarter and added 3* with the same bid. Offer was accepted.

I stayed at this hotel last year and it was undergoing full renovation. It is a nice hotel, clean and new, convenient location, free parking - very comfortable beds, smoke-free. Nice outdoor pool area with a Jacuzzi. About 6 minutes from the airport and about 10 minutes from the French Quarter.

The dates I bought are during Mardi Gras so I am very pleased with the quality of this hotel at the price I snagged it for.
