Priceline Hotel: 3* San Francisco (Fishermans Wharf) Holiday Inn Fishermans Wharf

I was looking for 2 rooms January 1st and 2nd, 2012 in the San Francisco Wharf area. Myself and another couple wanted 2 rooms for the San Francisco Wharf area and here is how I won my (2) rooms.

I started bidding on Priceline for a 3-star Hotel in the Fishermans Wharf area. I bid $55 on the first bid (no win); I then bid $60 on the second bid by adding the Marina Lombard Street zone (no win); I then bid my last bid of $65 by adding the Richmond zone and was notified that I won the Holiday Inn Fishermans Wharf. :)

I'd talked to the Holiday Inn Fishermans Wharf earlier in the day to try and make a reservation that I could cancel and they gave me a quote of $155 which I could cancel 24 hours before I would arrive.

I'm very happy with this win and I'm looking forward to our visit. I hope this helps others with bidding and what price was won.
