bzg1234
I started at $91 based on other winning bids that I've seen here. I was looking for 4 star in Dupont/Woodley. I kept bidding up in $5 increments, adding non-4 star areas of town. Around $105 I added Georgetown/Foggy Bottom as another real 4-star area. Got the Westin for $110; a little more than I had hoped but still very reasonable.I went to Westin's site to see what it would have cost direct. I was disappointed to find that they had a $129 Thursday-Sunday special throughout the summer, but then I was relieved to see that they were all out of those rooms and that the cheapest rate they had left was $199. thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding!Congratulations on your win and thank you for sharing it with the rest of the board. I think this is a very good deal for this property. You can read a recent REVIEW posted by one of our members.I suspect that the $129 rate wasn't available for these dates, but even if it was, you'll still be there cheaper than those that got in on it! :) Enjoy your stay.
