This is definitely not a 4* hotel. Lobby was nice, but the rooms were not. Rooms were dated old and had issues: shower drain not draining well, carpet damp near TV, mattress at a slant.

Sorry to hear this didn't live up to your expectations.

This hotel generally gets pretty good reviews, but i stayed here a few years back and didn't love it either. Our room was on the lobby level and had a window facing the indoor pool area which may have detracted from our stay... but it was convenient for our very early flight out of CLT. I wouldn't avoid the zone because of this hotel, but would hope to win something different if/when i'm in the area again.
