hotelsearch8584
I'm going to NYC on Aug 25th -28th. I'm looking through Hotwire at a hotel in Midtown East NYC for 2 rooms for 5 people. It is a 3 and 1/2 star hotel showing that is has afitness center, a restaurant, a Business center and High speed internet access for $189 per room per night (for 3 nights). 85% of hotwire customers recommend it. Do you know what hotel it may be? I'm hoping for a hotel near a subway station. It has a trip advisor rating of 3 1/2 out of 5. Thanks Link to comment

hotelsearch8584
I got the Roosevelt for $187. I booked through the HOTWIRE link on your site. I hope it turns out okay. My travel agent friend said it was a 2 star hotel. Do you know if it's close to a subway station? Are there any restaurants in the area you would recommend? Thanks Link to comment

thereuare
The Roosevelt is a solid 3* (or better) property... certainly not 2 rated. The rooms can probably use a little re-fresher, but it has a very grand lobby and overall should suit your needs just fine. It's 2 blocks from the back side of Grand Central where you can catch the subway. You're also near my often recommended Ess-A-Bagel (Third Ave at 51st St) which has one of the best bagels in the city, makes for a nice, and relatively inexpensive, breakfast among local NYers. In regards to other restaurants, let me know what type of food you like (and more importantly your budget) and i'll try offer us some other suggestions.Enjoy your stay. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
llh58
We won the Roosevelt a year ago and it was the best location ever. If you dont like your room, just ask if you can move. You are really close to Grand Central and just minutes from Times Square. relax and have fun!!!!! Link to comment
