Can you update the amenities? Hover over the symbol to see what it is, for instance there is no "gym" its called fitness center. It makes it easier.

I'm not currently seeing this property offered when searching HOTWIRE for your dates... are you still seeing the above on your own search? If so, are you searching HOTWIRE for more than one room or for more than the default 2adults/0children?

I reserved (through Hotwire) a 4.5* South Strip hotel in mid-August (for 8/29-8/31) with the above amenities. As expected, it was THEhotel at Mandalay Bay. However, when I checked in and went to my room I was given a regular hotel room (not a suite). I went to the front desk and they explained I was booked into what they called a 550 DR (550 sq ft Deluxe Room). I mentioned that room is not on THEhotel's website and that I was expecting a suite. Apparently the 550 DR is used to accomodate overflow from Mandalay Bay (which has 550 DR rooms). After a few minutes discussion "in the back" the front desk clerk moved me to a standard suite with a full Strip view. There was no comparison between the rooms. In my opinion, the smaller room wouldn't qualify this as a 4.5* hotel. (I suppose that is supported by the fact that Mandalay Bay doesn't have "Suite" as one of its amenities and that it is currently listed as a 4*).

I appreciated that the hotel "upgraded" me, but I figured others should be made aware.

I plan to follow-up with Hotwire and see what they say.
