Ishipop
I noticed that in a couple other posts people are getting $58/nt in Bellevue. It didn't work for me using 7/25-7/29. Is that too many nights in a row? What should my strategy be. I'm looking for a cheap but nice place close to downtown. Link to comment
mbstone
I also couldn't get 3.5* $58 in Bellevue. I couldn't get anything in Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, Bothell or Kent, and we are talking a wide variety of prices, star levels and dates. Even on the hotel chain websites and rack rate websites like Hotels.com there is little availability in the region. Went with Motel 6 in Kirkland for $54+$3 internet+tax. Link to comment
thereuare
Ishipop,Welcome to BetterBidding! Please start by reading your messages.Rates are date specific, so it's not uncommon that you won't be able to replicate another user's win when their dates are different then your own. This area is often busier mid-week vs. weekends, and i suspect many of the ulta-low wins in the $50's/$60's are for weekend nites, whereas your 4 nite stay are all midweek nites. Is this the only zone you're looking to stay or did you start here in hopes of a sub-$60 rate? What is your maximum bid for this stay? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
