This is likely the South Loop Hotel. I will note that this property is quite a bit South of the downtown area and there isn't a whole lot around it - I'd primarily suggest this area for those who want to stay near the McCormick Place convention center. Downtown isn't too much more expensive for these dates - I'm seeing a 3* in the Mag Mile/Streeterville area for $80; unless you need to be in the area to the South of the city, I'd suggest trying to stay more downtown (on HOTWIRE, the Loop, Mag Mile/Streeterville or NMA-Water Tower-Gold Coast areas.)

Thank you! I book travel often last minute for business colleagues. The neighborhood information is incredibly helpful. This July trip I have already reserved and when booking everything downtown seemed sold out so was looking at alternatives for future trips.

Please let us know what you decide and if you have additional questions. In terms of this particular neighborhood, it would be more of a "last choice" - it's not convenient to downtown and there's not a great deal around it. There are quite a few detailed reviews on Yelp. Downtown properties are (for Summer, at least) reasonably priced on these dates.
