575rider
We've tried several times bidding for a 3.5 star hotel in the Disneyland area with no success. We need two rooms for 8/31-9/03 and have bid up to $62. Seems several people have won rooms for around $55 for a 3.5 star hotel in this area. Wondering if our problem is because it includes a Friday night stay and/or if it's due to the fact that the reservation is almost 2 months away. Thanks for any advice. Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! Please start by reading your messages.Rates are date specific, so you might not always be able to replicate other winning bids on the board when their dates are different then your own, as their stay may have been when demand/rates were lower). Given that your dates include the start of the labor day weekend, i suspect this may be the situation you're facing given that many families may use the long weekend to take a vacation (so places such as Disneyland)Are you bidding both Disneyland zones or which one? Let us know and we'll have a close look at your dates and stay. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. 575rider
Yes, I've read the message and always use the links on this site (long time lurker). We'd prefer the Disneyland-Garden Grove area, but even when adding the Disneyland-Anaheim North area it still was not accepted. Thanks for any help. Link to comment

575rider
Awesome advice! We used the PRICELINE link and received a reservation for Red Lion for $60/night on Wednesday and Thursday. We were then offered Friday night for $78. Went ahead and accepted considering it would be difficult to find a better deal for that night/location, and a few extra bucks was worth being able to stay at the same location.A few questions. I'm aware of the $14/day parking fee. Is there also a required $7/day resort fee per room? Thanks again. Link to comment
thereuare
Congratulations on your success!Glad to see you were successful splitting the bid and were able to extend your stay for the extra nite for just a bit more... overall looks like a great deal for this busier then usual dates.I'm not sure about the resort fee at this property, but maybe somebody who has been there recently can comment.Thank you for sharing your win and using the PRICELINE links on the board to begin your bidding.Enjoy your stay. Stomper88
I stayed there on this priceline win in April and there was no resort fee. It's the perfect hotel for disneyland especially with the free wifi! Link to comment
