kasmca
Apparently the weekend of July 23 is really busy in the Buffalo area. I believe the NY Bar Exam is July 26 -27. Lots of hotels in the downtown are sold out. I needed 5 rooms for 1 night (July 23, 2011) and wanted the Buffalo Amherst Marriott. Started bidding at $65 -> $70 -> $75 -> $80. Didn't want to add any more zones so waited 24 hours. Today I bidded $80 -> $90 -> $100 got accepted. A bit more than I was expecting because most I have seen range between $60 and $76. However, better than my corporate rate of $145 and their posted rate $156. Unfortunately I could not change the dates.Thanks. Used the link from these forums to direct to PRICELINE. Link to comment
