Nogard13 Posted June 21, 2011 Report Share Posted June 21, 2011 I usually look at the rates and saw that the Rennaissance Downtown was listed for $89 regular rate, so I bid $45 on 4* trying to get it first. Increased my bid to $50, then $55 and didn't get it.Waited a day, lowered my bid back to $45 and added the 3* in the search criteria and got the Hyatt on the first try. Regular rate was $109. I really wanted to get the Embassy Suites in the Downtown area, but I have stayed at other Hyatt Place hotels and have been very happy with them. Can't beat the rate, either.Used PRICELINE link to bid. Link to comment
