Nosferatu
I've been bidding for over a month for a 4 star in this area with no luck. I'm looking for a room during the Fourth of July weekend. I understand that there may not be any rooms available during that time on Priceline but I'm curious if anyone has had success during that time and just hasn't posted. They may not release their rooms until the last minute. The highest I've gone, with bonus cash, was $110 a night (three nights - Friday, Saturday, Sunday). Thanks. Link to comment
AaronJB
Welcome to Betterbidding. :)Prices may come down, but there's no way to know - if Savannah is a popular 4th destination, prices could continue to stay around these levels or head higher. As of right now, I don't think you're too far off, and I think $120-130 may be the price neighborhood required for acceptance.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. Tennboy1981
Hey, not sure what your requirements are, but I found a great hotwire hotel deal for the 4th of july. 4th-7th got a rate of 35 bucks with the name your own price in midtown. 2.5*, staying at the country inn Link to comment
misskrystle
I just managed to book a room at the Hyatt for next Sunday night (3rd) for one night and bid $111.00 for it. I will be staying somewhere in Midtown on Friday and Saturday night as I'm not too keen on paying full downtown weekend rates! I figured $111 for one night is not a bad price for it being July 4th weekend. Good luck. Link to comment
