colorwolf
I'm arriving on Jun 11, 2011 for 1 night. Hoping to get a hotel for no more than $60 for a 2.5*. Willing to drive within 30 minutes from the premium outlet mall at Grove city. Your help is much appreciated. Link to comment
thereuare
It appears that the outlets are within the Mercer zone within the Youngstown OH region.Assuming this is correct, if you enter Youngstown, OH in the search box on the top right corner of this board and see the zones within this region, which of these zone(s) are you willing to accept? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Amicusu
Cranberry is 30 mins south of grove city. I stayed there last time I went there. People seem to get the 3* Four Points from $40-65 if you look through the forum. Link to comment
colorwolf
Thanks for all the help. We are a group of 5 would you recommend us to bid for 2 rooms or should i bid each room separately. What are the chances that it will be the same hotel. Link to comment
AaronJB
If you were to bid for two rooms for comfort/space, then it would be recommended that you do so within the same transaction, not two different transactions.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. thereuare
We are a group of 5 would you recommend us to bid for 2 rooms or should i bid each room separately.Note that PRICELINE only guarantees double occupancy, after that it's at the discretion of the hotel, and you could receive a room with only one bed. While you can call the hotel you win and request a room with two beds, the hotel may not be able, or willing, to honor your request. Is this a risk you're willing to accept? If not, HOTWIRE may still be an option as they allow you to search for up to quad occupancy and ensure sleeping accommodations for everyone you include in your search (although this usually means two beds, the second 'bed' could be a sofabed, rollaway, etc)...if you enter Youngstown, OH in the search box on the top right corner of this board and see the zones within this region, which of these zone(s) are you willing to accept????Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. wkim75
Hi all..Great forum. :)Cranberry is 30 mins south of grove city. I stayed there last time I went there. People seem to get the 3* Four Points from $40-65 if you look through the forum.I noticed some of the amenities on PriceLine are not up to date..For example, in Grove City, the Holiday Inn Express offers free wifi, but it's not listed.. (which threw off my planned search)..So I was looking at PL in Cranberry, and noticed that none of the 3-star hotels offer complementary breakfast.. Or free wifi.. Rather than call them all, I thought I might ask here... Btw, for the record, I've attempted to book at Grove City (Holiday Inn Express, 2.5-star (only 2.5+ hotel in the area)): $40 - rejected $45 w/rebid - rejected $50 - rejected (wife) $55 w/rebid - rejected (wife)grrr... :)One thing I find strange. PL only shows upto 2.5-star hotels in the area, where HW looks like it offers a price on a 3-star hotel...? Link to comment
wkim75
Well, I took a quick look for the 3 Cranberry hotels..Redroof Inn - does not look like they have internet at all.. :)Marriott North - $10/day wifiFour Points Sheraton North - free highspeed internet (does not specify wifi)Maybe I'll try these places as well then... (at least the Marriott and Four Points Sheraton...) Link to comment
