Hotwire Hotel: Need Help on a 4 star Chicago Museum Campus/McCormick place hotel

States 4 star, $83 per night for May 28-30th, Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, and Hi Speed Internet.

Also states 90% recommended.

Any clues as to if it is the Hilton, or the Hyatt Regency?

Unfortunately, both have been seen with the same amenities and both have the same tripadvisor rating. If you don't want to risk ending up near McCormick Place - which is a ways South - I would not take the risk and would instead try using PRICELINE in the core (Millennium Park/Loop/Grant Park or River North/NMA.) What would be your desired budget per night?

I wouldn't mind the McCormick place if it was the Hilton...Would like to stay around $100, but a pool is a must have, thus I don't tend to use Priceline so much.

... but the Hyatt is not acceptable? As noted above, no way to differentiate between the two before your purchase.

HOTWIRE has a couple of 3* properties in the Loop and MagMile zone with a pool for $120-$125, but not sure if this is too far over your 'stay around $100' limit to consider the better location.

Thanks for all your help, this site is wonderful! The Hyatt didn't look all that appealing on their website is why. Hilton looks like a far nicer facility to me. Don't know that for sure, never stayed at either one. :)

That said, we made different plans for this weekend.
