travelma Posted May 22, 2011 Report Share Posted May 22, 2011 Started bidding for a 4* downtown @ $45, rejected. Bid 3 more times using free re-bid zones...up to $50 and rejected. Because we are already spending a good amount of money for theater tickets, I really didn't want to go over $50 for a hotel room. Added Forest Park/Clayton zone and also added 3.5* and rebid at $48. Won the Crowne Plaza downtown. We've stayed at this hotel numerous times. It's a great value for the $. Right across the street from the Hyatt at the Arch and the Hilton. Very nice views of the Arch. We always ask for a room on an upper floor which gives awesome views of the city and the Arch. Link to comment
