menelaus7 Posted May 14, 2011 Report Share Posted May 14, 2011 So excited. Was trying to see if I could get the Hyatt Regency Coconut Creek for Memorial Day Weekend. I looked last weekend and was moving up incrementally until I got to $135 for 2 nights which was more than I was hoping to pay. So, I stopped at that point. I tried again a few days later for the same area and days and still no luck. Got up to $135 before quitting. Today, I tried again, but I did three days. (My wife and I really enjoy this hotel - we have had a wonderful time every time we have stayed there). I started at $105 and moved to $110 when it was accepted. So, the lesson is sometimes it is better to wait and try to bid on another day rather than accept a price you don't want to pay. I used the PRICELINE link above.
