smile4disney
I am looking to stay in the Disneyland -Anaheim area 6/11-6/16. I will not have a car so a Parking fee does not matter but access to ART or other shuttle to DL is necessary. I do not know if any other areas besides the Disneyland - Anaheim have access to the transportation. I would be okay with a lower star rating if a shuttle is available or if it is in walking distance. I am looking to pay no more than $55/night. Any tips? Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! Please start by reading your messages.Given you need a shuttle to the park, and this can't be guaranteed with PRICELINE, i'd sooner suggest using HOTWIRE for this stay if you can reasonably identify the hotel offered before your purchase so that you can ensure that it offers a shuttle which would meet your needs. If you search HOTWIRE for your dates is there is anything within your desired budget, zone(s), and star rating? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. mbstone
Use Priceline, it's lots cheaper than Hotwire. Nearly every Anaheim property has a shuttle to DL. Start at $45, not $55; and try 3*. (Persons with cars should bid nearby Garden Grove first, as you would be less likely to get dinged for parking. Also in Anaheim you might get the Clarion.) Even in Garden Grove most properties have free DL shuttles. Link to comment
thereuare
...shuttle to DL is necessary.Nearly every Anaheim property has a shuttle to DL.Agree that PRICELINE is typically cheaper then HOTWIRE, but if the OP needs a shuttle, then HOTWIRE is the better (yet slightly more expensive) option. If s/he is willing to take the risk of receiving a property without a shuttle, then PRICELINE may be the way to go, but they need to understand/accept the risk (regardless of how big/small)... should they receive a hotel without a shuttle, the savings of an opaque purchase may not prove to be worthwhile. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
