JimS111 Posted April 13, 2011 Report Share Posted April 13, 2011 4/14/11-4/17/11 I bid $85 for Financial District 4*, than added USE, then added USW, Then increased bid to $90 and lowered to 3.5*. All were rejected. Finally I added SOMA/Moscone and upped it to $110 and finally won 3.5*Club Quarters in the financial district. Not too excited based on the review but we'll see. Link to comment

Gallus50 Posted April 15, 2011 Report Share Posted April 15, 2011 Jim - I've stayed at the Club Quarters. It's not bad. Rooms are pretty small, but overall, it's nice enough. It should be fine. If you're going back to SF, please learn about free rebids. There are plenty of them, and you can use them to your advantage by bidding in small increments in each desired area without risking overbids. Also - it is rarely a good idea to raise your bid price while lowering your star level. Please read the FAQs on this site. It can save you a lot of $$$. Have a good trip to the city by the bay.
