Priceline Hotel: 2* Shreveport (Airport SHV) La Quinta

:unsure:I was trying to get a 3* for about a month, then finally gave in and went down to a 2*. I got the La Quinta Shreveport for $50. It was not so great. The first room had little caps and rather large dust balls under the bathroom vanity, so not a good job sweeping the bathroom ... but that room smelled so bad - some had a cat in there that sprayed, so we asked for a new room in the morning, and they switched us. In the second room, we came home from our conference and the lights were on, as well as the TV, and there was a mop in the bathtub! So I called the desk to see if they cared to retrieve their mop, but no one answered at the desk. In the morning I was going to tell the desk clerk, but she went in back and never came out again, the more than 30 minutes we were eating breakfast. Basically a pretty yucky experience. :)

Yeah- now that I've unpacked, I realize someone also stole $34 of brand new cosmetics that I just bought!! So annoying. The dates were April 7-10, 2011

I realize someone also stole $34 of brand new cosmetics that I just bought!!

Hopefully just a case that you forgot to pack them and you'll find them on your bathroom counter when you return home (although that doesn't help the fact that you'll need to buy some replacement make-up now)
