So I will be hotel hopping! I had my wedding reception at this hotel almost 22 years ago, so it will be fun to stay there again. I had tried on Wednesday & Thursday nights earlier this week up to $75 with no luck. Noticed a big price drop on Hotwire yesterday (Friday) for these two nights in the area, so had a hunch I would finally be successful today (Saturday). Thanks again for all the info on this board!

Sucks... I was bidding on priceline for the shorebreak or hyatt regency HB for 110 and got accepted at the Hyatt Newport Beach instead :)

Does anyone know anything that I can do to get out? :)

Just got back and loved our stay here! Stayed in the Balboa building overlooking the golf course. Children loved the nearby pool. Room was clean and comfortable. Parked on Back Bay Drive (to avoid the $19/day parking fee) and walked through the back gate up the little hill to our building. Staff was courteous.
