zachpn Posted March 16, 2011 Report Share Posted March 16, 2011 I am currently also searching for a 4* in Amsterdam City Centre Museum Quater.Date: 20 - 23 AprilBid of 75 and 80USD was rejected yesterday - I was not offered any counterprice from priceline.Hotwire offers a 4* for this date for 163USD ... I hope 85USD will be accepted today.Ill share the results and of course I used the PRICELINE link :)Any advice welcome :) Link to comment
sexonthebeach150 Posted March 16, 2011 Author Report Share Posted March 16, 2011 I *THINK* Priceline will accept a bid as long as it accepts the minimum bid threshold for each night. Fridays and Saturdays in Amsterdam are pricey.So maybe you should consider splitting your bid into 4/20/-4/22 and then trying to extend a night for 4/23, and if that doesn't work, increase your bid. This would only work if you're OK with possibly having to change hotels. Otherwise, you may be paying a premium for the first two nights. Link to comment
