mac11
I'm headed out there for 4 nights, Oct 19-23 with 3 others. They already have their flight. I have nothing. The pre-canned flight + hotels look like a pretty good deal but include 4 plane tickets. But I had some questionsIs there a way to get a 1 flight + room for 4 package? Or should I just bid on these items separately? Can I bed on nicer/higher line rooms or are they always the entry level rooms that I'm looking at?Does it do me any good on price to try to book early, late or does it not matter? yellowdog
Welcome to BetterBidding! You need to bid on your flight and room separately. The rooms you'll get is a standard room when using PRICELINE. But you can always call the hotel and ask if they can upgrade you against a fee. Or deal with this when you you arrive. In terms of bidding late or early. Please read this link: Should i Bid Early or Close to Arrival Date I hope this answers your questions. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Yellowdog.PS. Please remember follow-up this thread with whatever you end up doing, even if you chose to book direct, cancell your trip, etc. Link to comment

mac11
Been cruising hotwire to check out what they have right now and try to learn to pick out hotels by description. Not in a huge rush buy will be booking by the end of the month. This is what I think of the 2 I just looked at, let me know if you see things differently so I can become better at this.South Strip 4* (0.0 - 1.2 mi from city center) $95Amenities:CasinoRestaurant(s)Pool(s)Fitness CenterBusiness CenterGolf NearbySpa ServicesWhich I believe makes this the MGM Grand or NYNY?South Strip 5* 0.0 - 1.2 mi from city center) $135Amenities:Restaurant(s)Pool(s)Fitness CenterSmoke Free RoomsSpa ServicesWhich I believe would make it the Vdara, most likely? thereuare
Please keep all posts for the same stay in the same thread. For the 5* both the Wynn and the Venetian have been reported with this amenity set so either of these would be my best guess for this one.The 3* is a match for Bills Gambllin Hall so that would be my best guess here. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you decide or if we can be of further help.
