mlofroos
Hi everyone! This is my first post on this forum (although I have booked a few rooms on Priceline using some information from this site as guidance, I have not posted before), so apologies if my formatting is a bit off.Started bidding the Ft. Lauderdale Beach area at $70, went up mostly in $1 increments. Was offered a chance to raise by $20 at $75 so I knew I was getting close. I refused and continued upping by $1 increments, figuring that I would get either B Ocean, the Westin Beach Resort or the Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty-Six, possibly even the W. I was delighted to get the Westin, as it has slightly nicer reviews than the other probable properties.I used Coral Spring, Airport North, Airport, Miramar and Pompano Beach in a classic permutation matrix (A, B, C, D, E, A+B, C+D, A+E, etc.) for the one-dollar increments. Thanks to all posters and mods for making this such a great site! Now if I could only find a decently priced 4* in NYC just before this stay in Ft. Lauderdale :) Link to comment
