thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding!Congratulations on your accepted bid and for sharing it with the rest of the board... i happen to like this hotel and the location is excellent for exploring the city. It's also a short walk to Ess-A-Bagel (51st St and Third Ave) which i highly recommend for an inexpensive breakfast and one of the best bagels in Manhattan. Was this your first bid in the zone? (if not do you remember the highest bid you made which was rejected in the MTE zone before this $160 acceptance?)Thanks, and enjoy your stay. sylvaine
I too hope the original poster comes back with details as I need to book a room for the exact same dates for a trade show. How large are the standard rooms at the Hyatt? Through the show organizers, I can get a studio suite at the Southgate Tower for $159 (300-400 square feet), fully refundable and no service fee. I've stayed several times at the Eastgate Tower and I'm a big fan of the Affinia properties. Given the choice between a standard room at the Grand Hyattt for $160 and a studio suite at the Southgate Tower for $159, which would you pick? Link to comment
thereuare
Eastgate Tower for $157/nite (no booking fees :) )Although i've never stayed there, I'm partial to the Hyatt as it's recently been renovated and has great mass transportation access. Please start a new thread if you want to discuss your dates in more detail.
