Booked the 3.5* FQ hotel from Hotwire for $151/night. As suspected, it is the Inn on Bourbon. Great price for the Quarter during Jazzfest.

This hotel does not have a non-smoking logo on the Hotwire site that would assure one of getting a non-smoking room. Once purchased, will the hotel give you the option of choosing between a smoking / non-smoking room? Or is it possible they are only offering inventory of smoking rooms to Hotwire customers?

There is no guarantee of smoking/non-smoking if the listing does not show "smoke-free". Most hotels - especially on calmer days - will likely have no problem with the basic request of no-smoking and I've been booked specifically as no-smoking on HOTWIRE/PRICELINE reservations on a number of occasions. However, whether due to policy or availability (especially the latter on busy days), sometimes users wind up in smoking rooms. If this occurs, one can try talking at check-in to see if anything else is available or calling the service. Overall though, there is no way to select smoking/no-smoking, you have to call the hotel and negotiate after booking (and again, you may have been booked no-smoking to begin with.)
