MelP Posted February 9, 2011 Report Share Posted February 9, 2011 Headed to Denver in May for the U2 concert on the 21st and decided to give this an early shot for the heck of it since I see in the past that others were able to score relatively early. Started at $60 and 4*, was rejected, stayed at 4* and added Aurora and upped it to $65, rejected again. Added Denver SW Lakewood and did what was going to be my final bid (for now) at $70 and dropped the * down to 3.5 and hit for this:3.5* The Burnsley All Suite HotelRoom Cost (avg. per room, per night): $70.00 (USD)Number of Rooms: 1Number of Nights: 3Room Subtotal: $210.00 (USD)Taxes and Fees: $38.01 (USD)Total Room Cost: $248.01 (USD)Probably not my best strategy and maybe (just) a tad farther than I wanted, but pleased it's within budget and am looking forward to visiting Denver for the first time.
