Neither of these properties have been reported to the board, but i am a little familiar with this area (there isn't too much around), can i ask what your plans are for this area as i might be able to suggest an alternative which would work for your needs.

My wife has a training class at Cannon, 2 days, I'm just tagging along to be there since it's Valentines Night.

Cannon is very close to the NJTPK, she really doesn't want to be to far from Cannon, I know not much in that area at all. Any restaurants in the area you would recommend?

The closest hotels are the Crowne Plaza and the Courtyard which are both right off the NJTpke exit and there really isn't much in the area. I don't think the Courytard has a restaurant, i think the Crowne Plaza has a sports bar (Yogi's, Champs or some other sports-type name, iirc)... any other restaurants are probably a good 15-20 minute ride away.

If you can convince your mate (maybe not a good idea since it's Valentine's Nite :) ) i would sooner look towards the Princeton area along Rte 1. Very good quality hotels and most (not all) of them offer shuttle service to the surrounding area to keep you busy during the day. There is also likely more which will be in walking distance if you just need to 'get out' to a nearby starbucks, strip mall, lunch, etc. The downside is you're probably looking at ~25 minutes to Cannon.

Thanks for your help, there is a 4* on there now which I believe is the Crowne Plaza, we just might go for that at $84.

Saw it the other day last week was hoping it might come down some closer to our date, you think it might come down closer to the 14th?

If you end up at the Crowne Plaza (or nearby) this restaurant was recommended to me (i've never been) http://www.fiddleheadsjamesburg.com/ which is about 10-15 minutes from the hotel... menus at their website you can view beforehand (although not sure if they'll have set/fixed menu for Valentine's Day) and you'll likely need a reservation as it looks small.
