Atko
This one appears to regularly come up, and at around this price for my dates, since I've been searching for a London hotel. Amenities are always: Restaurant, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business. 4/5 T/A.This obviously matches both the Riverbank Park Plaza and the Victoria Park Plaza. Both hotels look great, and I probably wouldn't be disappointed with either, but I'd really prefer the Riverbank Park Plaza. I see both hotels have been won recently with these ammenities which doesn't help.HOTWIRE used to show the T/A rating out of a particular number of T/A reviews which helped. But I see they've stopped doing that since I last used HOTWIRE. Obvious question I know, but is there any other way of narrowing it down, or what's yours or anybody's best guess? Any help appreciated. Link to comment

But I see they've stopped doing that since I last used HOTWIRE.yes, that luxury is long gone :) Obvious question I know, but is there any other way of narrowing it down, or what's yours or anybody's best guess? The problem is that both hotel got the same TA rating and are reported with the same amenitie combo so we have nothing to go on here. And the "HOTWIRE reviews recommend" in % has shown to be unpredictable so i wouldn't use that to narrow down a hotel with this close reviews. And the Victoria Park Plaza is the most frequent one we have seen reported. So your best guess is as good as mine :) But Riverbank is reported for end of March in this Hotwire stay thread but that doesn't have to mean anything for your dates. Please use the site's HOTWIRE link, and let us know how it goes or if you need any additional help with your stay.Yellowdog. Atko
Thanks for that. Now I can stop wondering about those "Hotwire Reviews recommend" numbers too.I'm going to hold off booking just at this moment, and am just going to keep watching prices and other hotels for a while longer. London certainly isn't cheap! Link to comment

Atko
Just to finish this thread off, in the end I decided that for that sort of money I couldn't take a gamble, as location was really important for me in London and I was preferring the Riverbank.Went with a deal on Hotels.com. They had a 48hr sale and I got the 5* Royal Horseguards Hotel in Westminster area at 40% off. Would have preferred HOTWIRE rates (as I paid a bit more than I wanted to) but I really wanted location, location, location in London and I needed to finalise a hotel. Thanks for your assistance and sorry I went with "the competition" on that one.
