thriftymommy
I started out at $35.00 and they said if I increased by $15, they would accept at $50. I declined and kept increasing by $1 until they accepted at $39. Glad that every room in this hotel has a microwave and mini-fridge. thriftymommy
Just wanted to give an update on the hotel. The hotel was clean and looked new or recently renovated, great location, had 2 washers and dryers on site, a microwave and min-fridge in the room, offered a free breakfast and newspaper, and the staff was friendly. After we checked in, we noticed that the bathtub drain was clogged. Maintenance arrived and fixed the drain within 10 minutes of calling the front desk. The cons of the hotel...There is only one ice machine in the hotel (on the 1st floor). This was kind of a pain because we were on the 3rd floor. The juice that they offered at breakfast was terrible. I tried the orange juice and it was EXTREMELY watered down. The rest of the breakfast was decent. The pool was small, but heated (which is a plus). They added chemicals to the pool in the middle of the day.....when it was being used by guests. The chlorine and other chemicals were so strong that we left the pool when they did this. The walls were pretty thin. From our room we could hear everything that was going on out in the hallway and when you were in the hallway, you could hear conversations that were occurring in the rooms. Overall, we were happy with the hotel and I would recommend it to others. Link to comment
