Airb330 Posted January 29, 2011 Report Share Posted January 29, 2011 I've been trying San Diego up to about $75 on PRICELINE and was monitoring the Hilton/Omni/Solamar on Hotwire for $98. I decided to try for a 3.5* at $59, it told me to increase my bid to $74. So I added a rebid of Coronado at $66 and it was accepted and 'upgraded' to a 4*, the Westgate. The hotel decor is not my taste at all, but it has great tripadvisor reviews and a wonderful location so I am excited. Saved $32 over HOTWIRE. We're really staying in SNA for most of the trip, but wanted to checkout the gaslamp district and see a Phillies/Padres game, so it's a great base for that price. Used the PRICELINE link (and also the HOTWIRE link when I was perusing those options). Link to comment
