Priceline Hotel: 4* Monterey Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel and Spa

Hey all,

Wanted to share my most recent bidding experience. I'm going to Monterey on Saturday for one night. Ultimately, my bid of $83 for the night was accepted by the Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel and Spa.

Here is the bid history:

Monterey 4* - $70

Monterey + Marina 4* - $75

Monterey + Marina + Pacific Grove 4* - $80

Monterey + Marina + Pacific Grove + Salinas 4* - $83 - accepted

I had one more re-bid. In retrospect, perhaps I should have bid up more slowly, but I was eager to secure a place tonight. I think I only would have saved a few $ so I'm okay with it. Glad to see that the Hyatt Regency has free self-parking. With tax, it came out to $100, which was right in my budget :)
