SocialAdept
I'm looking to go a little off the beaten path this time and look at the ESB or Central Park South area. In the ESB area I'm curious about the Morgans hotel, but want to avoid the Kitano. In the CPS south are I'd like the Loews or Le Meridien but wouldn't want to end up at Renaissance hotel 57 (in my mind it's still a 3.5*). I guess I'll have to hazard these risks though. I'm looking at starting my bidding at $85. Does that sound reasonable? When the time comes to bid (My dates are currently 95% sure, will be 100% later this week) I will definitely use the BB PRICELINE links to place my bid! Link to comment
AaronJB
$85 doesn't have a strong chance of being accepted, but it's worth a try, especially a month in advance (and then working up slowly from there if that's not accepted.) Given the rates I'm seeing for these dates (and that this is traditionally a very slow part of the year), a 4* win at a reasonable/low rate should not be a problem.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. SocialAdept
Just for the record, I rescheduled my plans due to some pressing business in the Midwest so I won't be visiting NYC in January. Sadly. :-( Link to comment
