Priceline Hotel: 4* Chicago (Millenium-Loop-Grant Park) Hyatt Regency

Using the PRICELINE link, I started bidding yesterday in this area for a 4* at $50. I was hoping to get lucky and get the Hyatt (as a few others have gotten recently) in the mid $50s. Was rejected and went through 7 rebidding zones (including NMA) raising the bid a couple of dollars each time without success. Today, I started at $66 for Loop or NMA, and was rejected. Again, I used the rebidding zones, raising the price $2 each time. When I hit $74, they suggested a rebid of $94. I ignored this as I had two rebidding zones left. I had no success until my last available rebid was accepted.

room: $78 for two nights=$156

taxes and fees: $32.64

total: $188.64
