ultrasoul
Used the PRICELINE link on forum.Won at $107 which is the absolute lowest. As mentioned earlier post: "As a 6th time bidder this year on the Conrad, I can say its safe to assume that the lowest bid possible for Conrad on a weekend is at $107 bid."This is a surprise as I HAVE NEVER won a week day rate at the weekend winning rate of $107.Here's the final tally including Priceline's exorbitant taxes (20-22% compared to 17% official tax on hotels). Guess priceline not only makes money on the spread between our bid and the lowest rate, but also the 5% extra tax and fees they charge Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $107.00 (USD)Number of Rooms: 1Number of Nights: 1Room Subtotal: $107.00 (USD)Taxes and Fees: $27.13 (USD)Total Room Cost: $134.13 (USD) Link to comment
