Started bidding for 3.5* properties at $52. For 3.5* properites, Asheville has free bids at Biltmore Square, Asheville West, Asheville East, and the airport, as the highest star rating for any of these locations was 3*.

Accepted: $65.

After my initial bid I got an offer for $67 per night, so it doesn't appear Priceline was going to let me do much better than their "special" "one-time" offer.

The going rate on the hotel website was $142 per night. I'll take a $77 per night savings and run with it.
