Priceline Hotel: 3* Wilmington (Newark-Christiana) Courtyard University of Delaware

Logged onto PRICELINE through Betterbidding.com.

I need a hotel close to both Christiana Hospital in Newark and Union Hospital in Elkton, MD.

Bid history:

10/26/10: Only for 3*: $35, 38, 40. (Newark, Newark + Elkton, Newark + Elkton + New Castle). All rejected.

10/27/10: Only for 3*: $43 (Newark) was rejected. I got a message asking me to raise my bid to $58 and I would get a free "re-bid" for Newark. I refused, and instead added Elkton and increased my bid to $50 and this was accepted.

Total cost for 4 nights is $228.56. The hotel rated 4+ stars on Tripadvisor (32 total reviews, 8 in 2010).

This bid is a bit higher than other winning bids in the area (most are in the $40's). However, the Hilton-Christiana was sold out on 11/1/10 and 11/2/10, suggesting there may be higher demand.
