aowens
Hi there. I will be in the city next Tuesday and am unsure of what a reasonable bid would be to stay in a 3* in either Times Square or MTW. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Link to comment
AaronJB
Welcome to Betterbidding. :)Please provide your desired budget per night, and are you interested in bidding for MTW/TS only - or are there other acceptable zones?Thank you for using the site's PRICELINE or HOTWIRE links to start your purchases and searches. aowens
Ideally I'd like to stay around $160, but I have no idea if that's realistic. I would also bid in CPS.Thanks so much! Link to comment
thereuare
Based upon current prices i don't think $160 is going to be realistic. You can certainly give it a try, but my guess is that at the moment you're looking closer to $200+. We'll suggest a straetgy for you to give it a go, but before doing so, would MSG, ESB and/or Chelsea work for your needs? ESB would just be another opportunity or a hotel to accept your bid, but MSG and Chelsea are often some of the less expensive zones at the 3* level in NYC.Let us know and we'll advise accordingly. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. aowens
For this particular trip I really need to stay within TS, CPS and MTW. Link to comment
thereuare
At the 3* level you have ONE re-bid zone. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.Select 3* CPS...Bid $135, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $140, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINESelect 3* MTW...Bid $135, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $140, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINESelect 3* TS...Bid $135, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $140, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINESelect 3* CPS and MTW...Bid $145, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $150, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINESelect 3* CPS and TS...Bid $145, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $150, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINESelect 3* TS, CPS and MTW...Bid $155, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $160Any questions feel free to ask. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Good luck and let us know how it goes. aowens
I read the re-bid zone and I don't completely get it :-/For any of the zones I'm looking for (TS, MTW, CPS) would Coney Island be the re-bid zone because it's highest rating is 2*?Thanks! Link to comment
thereuare
Yes...
