Last week, HOTWIRE was still showing expensive prices. Earlier today, HOTWIRE was showing $34.95 per day + taxes for a total of $111. I tried $29 on PRICELINE for an Economy car and my bid was accepted. That was $6 less per day!Your Offer Price: $29.00 (per day)Total Rental Days: 2 daysSubtotal: $58.00Taxes and Fees: $39.73Total Charges: $97.73It's still expensive, but not outrageous.
