Priceline Hotel: 3.5* DC (White House-Downtown) Crowne Plaza

Started bidding at $65 increased bid by $5 adding a rebid zone each time. Got the Crowne Plaza for $75. Was hoping to get the Westin or the kimpton Mardera. If I had known that Crowne Plaza was one of the hotels available I would not have bid. I stayed at this hotel about 6 months ago and got bed bugs, which was a nightmare. Might just be an unlucky experience on my end, other than the bed bugs the hotel was fine. The price on the hotel website for the same room is $99 so not a great savings.

This property is reported in the Priceline Hotel List so if you had checked there landing this property wouldn't have come as much of a surprise.

I would consider contacting the hotel before your stay and let them know of your prior experience and request a room which has recently been 'inspected'.
