Bunneh
Hi everyone, thank you for this wonderful resource and all your contributions that make planning my travels so much better!I am currently going through the whole routine of re-bidding 3-4 times with slightly different dates, prices and zones daily - for my stay in the Florida Keys in March 2011. Is that even reasonable or are prices unlikely to change this early?also, I am bidding around $100-$120 per night for a 4* or Resort level hotel in the keys (all 4 regions). Considering that end of march is probably high season, is that even reasonable? Thanks for reading either way! :) Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding!Bidding daily at the moment is probably a bit too much and would likely lead to frustration... i would think that once a week at this early stage of the game would be fine.I'll also add that this March is Spring Break for many colleges and this may be a very busy time for the area which would also inflate hotel prices. Is there a date range you have in mind? What is the best rate you're able to find thru conventional booking channels? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Bunneh
I probably overpaid some here, made a mistake with re-bidding.Anyway, my accepted bid was $116 + $10 bonus cash (10*5) for a total of $126 bid, $680 for 5 nights incl taxes.Best of luck! Link to comment
