Started at the aggressive price of $65... for a 4-star hotel in downtown Seattle

Got clear to $150 before giving up.

Any advice??

Unfortunately, rates are quite high for this date - HOTWIRE is showing a 4* in the Downtown-Pike Place area for $289. What would be your desired budget per night?

What is the typical correlation between the rates on HOTWIRE vs. PRICELINE? If Hotwire is offering 4* properties for a certain price, is PRICELINE likely to have hotels in the same area for a lower price?

PRICELINE is usually a little cheaper then HOTWIRE... but there is no set percentage cheaper nor should you necessarily expect to win the same hotel on PRICELINE that you believe is being offered on HOTWIRE.
