I will be traveling on Oct 18~ Oct 21

The Max i want to spend is up to $150.00

What would be best way to bid on the PRICELINE?

I don't mind any zone at all.

Only zone i would like to avoid is La Defence but if i can get a deal under $150 on that zone, it is fine.

I tried the bidding but no luck.

What would be the good price to go at the 4* hotels in paris during my dates?

would i have more luck as the day gets closer?

I'm guessing you're looking at $200+... but i'll add that HOTWIRE has the VILLA LUTECE PORT ROYAL HOTEL for $235/nite.

You might also take a look at Best Western right on their site. There is a link to them under the "Support/Travel Links" above. There were a couple of their Paris hotels available for your dates for under 100 Euro or about $130. When you get to their site, key in your dates, but then select for "Available" and sort on "Price - low to high". This will save wading though the rest.

I tried bidding up to $200.00 but no avail.

I ended up booking newly designed hotel from other site.

But next time when i try PRICELINE for in-state hotels, i will use the link provided from this site.

Where, and for how much, did you ultimately end up booking?

I ended up getting Home Moderne Hotel.

It was about $105 a night. Very small room but it was very clean compare to other hotels in the city.

Only thing i didn't like was wall were not sound proof and you can hear mostly everything.

Besides that it was great hotel, not too far from city but for price hotel was great and clean.
