Hotwire had economy for $8.95 with $14.95 in taxes, surcharges, and fees and booking other sites with last minute special, airline,codes or other coupons was about $5 higher. I decided to try priceline. My first bid was for $5 and prior to hitting the submit button it gave me a "$9.00 - Good Chance message". I did not increase but kept it at $5 and it accepted.
