gjjohnson
I have an appointment at CSU Fullerton and will be arriving after midnight at LAX -- was planning to stay in the LAX area, but was unable to find a 3.5 star hotel for under $60 after multiple rebids. I decided to bid on 3.5 star Fullerton/Brea at $45 and was prompted to rebid $10 higher. I figured that I was getting close, so I added Anaheim Hills for $48. My bid was accepted at the Fullerton Marriott which is on campus at CSUF.It will be a long drive after a cross-country flight, but at least I won't have to fight the traffic on the 405 as I would have if I stayed near LAX. The rack rate for this Marriott is $109 and the hotel's webpage doesn't mention a parking fee like the LAX-area hotels charge, so this is a much better deal for me. Link to comment

gjjohnson
The Marriott worked out perfectly -- I was driving in from a 1:30am flight at LAX and there was almost no traffic. The hotel checkout time is noon, so I was able to sleep in and still make my afternoon appointment on campus at CSUF. Thanks, Again! Link to comment
